The Orientalist Origins Vodka is certainly a unique spirit; priding itself on being the first truly Pan-Asian spirit, it’s ingredients are carefully and thoughtfully sourced from the highest quality ingredients from across Asia.

The Orientalist Origins Vodka is triple blended with longan honey from Taiwan, barley extracted from the Tibetan highlands, 9 different kinds of potatoes and then proofed with ultra soft water that comes from the Sakurajima Peninsula in Kagoshima prefecture, Japan.

This intricate blend delivers a mouth-watering creamy feel, succulent aromatic sweetness and hints of earthy and herbaceous scents that can be perfectly enjoyed and savoured either on the rocks or as a bone dry martini (sans vermouth).

The Orientalist Dragon Whisky is an 8 year old double wood matured blend. It is blended with whiskies obtained from the top 3 whisky regions in Asia: Japan, Taiwan and India.

This whisky has a deep and warm amber colour. It has a rich and luscious flavour; dried dates, fresh red fruits and a touch of dark chocolate gives it a sensual and indulgent feel. The nose contains notes of vanilla, raisin, apricot, sherry and hints of spice and smoke.

The Orientalist Gunpowder Gin is a contemporary gin that is produced using a blend of traditional and low temperature vacuum distillation methods & techniques.

The Orientalist Gunpowder Gin contains hints of tea, black pepper and citrus; giving it a crisp, clean, sophisticated and well balanced taste. In total, 23 different botanicals were used in the making of this gin: Gunpowder tea, Kampot peppercorn, Siberian ginseng, Korean Omija berries, dried tangerine peel, Osmanthus flower, angelica, coriander, orris root and Mace - donian juniper berries - just to name a few.

This aromatic and refreshing Gin is perfect for a hot day and can be enjoyed in a classic Martini or in a cheeky Negroni.

IMPERIAL SOLERA 23 RUM

Aged At Origin In The Classic Solera Process

The Orientalist Solera 23 Imperial Rum is a small batch hand-crafted sipping rum made from a blend of rums between 6 and 23 years of age from Thailand, Philippines and Indonesia aged at origin in the classic Solera process from a series of ex-bourbon and Pedro Ximenez sherry barrels.

The Founder

Michel Lu is a visionary leader with a passion for marketing and fashion lifestyle, and a proven track record of building successful, iconic brands in the Asian market. He is the man behind Elite Model Management's success in Asia, where he personally managed supermodels like Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, and Claudia Schiffer. Michel also created the world's first Asian girl band, Jungk, in collaboration with music legend Malcolm McLaren.

After exiting the entertainment industry, Michel co-wrote a movie script, launched a record label, and built a mini empire in the food and beverage space. He has a keen interest in mentoring the next generation of F&B entrepreneurs and was the programme director and lead instructor for the Advanced Certificate in F&B Entrepreneurship by Singapore Management University. Michel is a recognized thought leader and has been included in the annual “Power List” by Singapore newspaper The Straits Times.

Michel has also made a mark in the tech industry as the Asian director of a New York-based tech advisory and venture fund. He is currently exploring the exciting opportunities presented by robotics, artificial intelligence, and other Web3 technologies.

With a diverse and impressive track record, Michel Lu is an icon in the worlds of fashion, entertainment, and entrepreneurship.
